Decorate Your Perfect Fall Sunroom

Fall is finally here! The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and the weather is giving your three season or thermal sunroom the perfect cosiness. Which makes it a great time to decorate your sunroom to fit the season.

One of the most important things about decorating is deciding on the colour scheme. The best colour scheme for fall is neutral colours such as greys, greens and white with hints of orange. If you want to make a splash with your colour scheme though you could also add aubergine or to stay on the safe side you could add pops of red.

Now time to decide on decorations!

Pumpkins are a classic image to represent fall so they definitely deserve a space in your decoration plan. You can get them in different shapes, sizes and colours then spread them around your sunroom to use as ascents.

Centrepieces are a great, creative way to design something special for your sunroom. Gourds are a nice main piece to add because they come in a variety of different shapes, colours and sizes so you can customize it to your vision. You can also grab some cornhusks or Flint corn to add something unique to your centrepiece.

Vases are simple but effective decoration to add to your sunroom. You can fill it with unshelled nuts, beautifully bundled up wheat, or mums. All of these are unique and beautiful ways to add some fall to your sunroom.

A sunroom is all about light so don’t forget to utilize it to highlight some of your decorations. Up lights can help draw attention to specific spots in your sunroom while also adding height to it. Candles and lamps are more common ways to add light to your sunroom without creating harsh or bright lights.

Remember to always have fun decorating your sunroom and to add some of your own personal touches that make the space even cozier. At the end of the day, it’s your space to create an environment where you and your family can relax while spending time together.
